Firstly, based out of Markham (Ontario, Canada), The Yoga Mat is an internationally recognized yoga school specializing in 200 and 300-hour Intensive Yoga Teacher Training Programs in Canada and tropical destinations such as Thailand.
Programs offer a very traditional, authentic approach to Living and Teaching Yoga. These programs are intense, challenging, and extremely rewarding. The team of Yoga Experts is experienced, professional,l and dedicated to making your Yoga Teacher Training the absolute best.
The Yoga Mat School program is based on The 8 Limb Path of Patanjali. We immerse ourselves in all areas of yoga techniques, with a deep focus on home practice and meditation.
The training programs are offered in English, and a copy of the Yoga Mat Training Manual is provided to every student who participates.
